In memory of my recently passed mam, I'll be running the Belfast marathon on Bank Holiday Monday, May 1st. Mam spent her final few weeks in St. Francis Hospice, Raheny, the final stages of a brave year-long battle with brain cancer. The level of care afforded to her by each and every member of staff at St. Francis was exceptional. They helped ease her pain, and they helped ease ours too. And tomorrow it will be someone else; and someone else's family. It's a place that you never want to have to visit, but it's a wonderful place. Full of wonderful people, doing wonderful things. Help me to help them to help others by donating what you can. Thanks.
