For those of you who do not know, our little boy Seán was born sleeping in January. At 5 and a half months into my pregnancy this obviously came as a traumatic blow to both Philip and I.
Féileacáin were with us from the start. They provided a Memory Box full of information and precious things to make our short time with Seán incredibly special.
Féileacáin also supplied the Cuddle Cot which meant we could bring our son home where he was surrounded by his whole family. We will never be able to put into words how important and precious that time was.
Féileacáin is a non-profit charity which was set up by grieving families for grieving families. They give ongoing support and are there for us whenever we need them. I hope and pray that none of you will ever need them but the truth is there is another family who's nightmare is starting today. Please donate what you can and in Seán's memory we can help Féileacáin be there for them.

About the Cause
Feileacain - Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Association of Ireland
Why the name FéileacáinA Butterfly lights besides us like a sunbeam …Many of the ancient civilizations believed that butterflies were symbols of the human soul, and in Irish mythology the butterflies, or ‘Féileacáin’, are said to be the spirits of the departed who return to visit their favorite place and their loved ones to reassure them that they are alright.
