Robyn was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma on the 10th Sept 2007 at the age of 3. Robyn went through aggressive treatments and went into remission in 2009. Robyn remained cancer free until July 2013 when a tumour was found in her jaw bone and we discovered it had spread. Robyn went through more treatments over the following year. She cleared most of the disease then remain stable until April 2015 when a scan show the disease had progressed again back into her jaw and spine and pelvis. Robyn has had so many treatments that we are running out of options. We have decided to bring Robyn to America and over the past year Robyn has been receiving targeted Medicines. She got a really good scan on May 12th and now has moved on to the dfmo trial. This is a drug to try to prevent the disease from returning.
Robyn Smyth is 14 years old - she relapsed with a cancer called neuroblastoma in July 2013 after 4 years in remission. We need to raise money for a potentially life saving treatment that is available abroad - without this treatment there is a chance that we may lose Robyn. Please don't give up on her.
