I am running my first half marathon on Sunday 4th June in Cork. I am running it to raise funds for two amazing oncology nurses, Olga Buckley and Peg O Riordan who provide a pediatric oncology outreach nurse service to children affected by cancer. The service is both unique and invaluable, it enables children to be treated at home and reduces the length of time and stress children receiving treatment spend in the mercy hospital. For any parent who has had a child affected by cancer they will know this is worth its weight in gold.
I don't have a target I would just like to give something to two amazing women who put their heart and soul into what they do, so can I ask you to support me in my run and donate what you can.
