I became aware of the Bumbleance charity due to the help it provides to the daughter of my work colleague, Tom. The Bumbleance service is “The world’s most modern and only interactive Children’s Ambulance service on the planet.”  They transport special needs, critically ill & seriously injured children with their families to hospital. The Bumbleance service provides an interactive ambulance  which uses Play and Distraction Therapy to improve the quality if life of our sick Children which helps make the hospital experience more positive for all the family. This contributes to better overall outcomes for the children. I think this homegrown charity is doing very important work for our sick children and their families.
