On 3 February 2015, Alan Cummins tragically lost his life in Perth, Western Australia. While it was a devastating loss for the Cummins family, they were sincerely grateful to the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust who repatriated Alan's remains back to Ireland so he could be buried in his native, beloved, Dublin. The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust aims to alleviate the financial hardship of bereaved families repatriating the bodies of loved ones who have died abroad in sudden or tragic circumstances back to Ireland. On 8 July 2017, Martin Black (Alan's brother-in-law) together with Ruairí Geoghegan, Patrick O'Driscoll and Andrew Lane are going to attempt a non-stop sea swim from White Rock Beach, Killiney, Co. Dublin to Bray, Co. Wicklow, covering a distance of approximately 8km in order to raise funds for the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust. Your support for their efforts and for this worthy cause is very much appreciated.
