We were one of the First families to stay in the Ronald McDonald house when it first opened, my son Ryan loved staying there & it always felt like our 2nd home, Ryan was only 2 years of age when he was diagnosed with cancer & after a four year battle Ryan passed away in March 2008, we have always done charity events for the Ronald McDonald house as it is very close to our hearts & helps us to keep Ryan’s Name & memory alive see www.ryanblessing.com for Ryan`s story and monies raised to date in his memory, The Ronald McDonald house was a place of great solace for us in those very dark days & helped put a smile on Ryan’s face.

The Ronald McDonald House Charity provides accommodation and a caring, supportive environment for 20 families every night while their children are seriously ill and are hospitalised or undergoing medical treatment at Children’s Health, Crumlin.The charity has been home to over 5,000 since it's doors opened 20 years ago and has it's sights set on serving thousands more families at the New Children's Hospital.
