We all know how important it is to ensure our loved ones are cared for while they are in the departure lounge on the way to their new home in the sky. This is something that the Irish Hospice Foundation does with so much love and care for each and every person who passes through their door. I along with so many of my family and friends have had first- hand experience of their support and to say I am forever grateful is an understatement. Living angels is my eyes.
My little popsie Terry Owens was able to die in his own bed which was his wish with the help and support of Blackrock Hospice. Without them this could not of happened. Dad would have been 80 this year in October if he was still alive and to honor his birthday I have decided to put my best foot forward and take on 130k over 6 days on the Camino. Any of you who knew Dad would know he was fond of going for a ramble. He could walk for hours bless him so it's my turn to go for a long ramble every step of my journey will be for him. I know he will be with me on the ramble and will encourage me the way he always did, can hear him now proud of you babo's.
So I am asking my family, friends and strangers to please support me in my journey and help the living angels flap their wings.
Big thanks in advance for any amount big or small.
