Running 5km every day, for a 100 days. Doesn’t sound much right? Well it adds up to 500km for each of us over the summer, with no breaks allowed! Starting on June 1st through to September 9th, we have all taken on the challenge of running #500ksofsummer in aid of two amazing charities – The Oesophageal Cancer Fund (OCF) and The National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH Foundation). Both charities do great work in their fields and are very close to the team. All donations, no matter how big or small, are greatly appreciated as we aim to make a difference to both Oesophageal cancer research and providing vital equipment to the NRH. Many of our team are inexperienced runners, who have taken on this challenge, to raise much needed funds for our charities. If you would like to follow our progress, you’ll find us using #500ksofsummer on Instagram & Facebook. Anyone, of any standard, who would like to get involved and join us for a run whether it be for 1, or for the 100, please do! You can contact us through the hashtag or at [email protected]. Thank you in advance :)
