Every home, including my own, has been visited by illness & cancer at some point, both directly & indirectly. Through my 13km swim across Galway Bay I hope to support & acknowledge the role which practical support & specialist services , such as those provided by Cancer Care West , provide in that time of need. Personally swimming across Galway Bay inspires me to challenge myself to do things & go beyond my self imposed limits. Whatever life throws at us heres to reaching for hopes and dreams , and embracing every precious moment we have in life.
