Vision Sports Ireland is solely dedicated to promoting sports for people with vision impairments, and enabling people of all ages and abilities to participate in sports and recreational activities of their choice. With a voluntary board, Vision Sports Ireland is also registered National Governing Body (NGB) for sport for people with vision impairments in Ireland.

100 percent of the funds raised will be invested directly in increasing the participation of people with vision impairments in recreational sporting events and to enable them to compete in national and international competitions. 

Core sporting activities supported include athletics, swimming, VI tennis, Judo, Tandem Cycling, Blind Golf, Blind Football and rowing.
