My father-in-law, Maurice O'Connell died in January of this year. He died after a short illness in the wonderful care of Galway Hospice. Then, in June of this year, my 32 year niece, Gillian O'Connell Burke died from cancer after a three year battle. Her final days were made easier by the fantastic work of her local hospice in London. The funds raised from the memorial walk will go to the Galway Hospice in their memory. "People never die as long as someone remembers them."
Good luck Francis and well done for supporting and excellent cause.
Good luck with your fundraising

About the Cause
Galway Hospice Foundation
Galway Hospice Foundation is a voluntary organisation. It was established in 1986 when a group of local doctors and nurses came together with a view to developing hospice services for the people of Galway city and county, as no such services existed there at the time.
