As it goes with running, you just never know what is around the corner, and little did I think that at this point in my training I would be running for two causes which have quite recently made an impression on my life. After a knock off my bike and suffering a broken arm, my desire to run a marathon at all was quickly waning...however, these recent causes impacted me so personally that it gave me a new sense of purpose for running the marathon and as such spurned me on.
Whilst these causes have touched me personally, I am certain they have touched many more of you too in their own particular way. So equipped with my new runners, multiple vile tasting energy gels and my trusty blue knee band, I hope to make it across the finish line. Your sponsorship and support is very much appreciated.
Thanks,
Tom
