We will be absailing in memory of Joe Barnwell, a friend who life was taken by the disease, but introduced us to the amazing work done by IMNDA; the only organisation of its kind in Ireland.
IMNDA aims are:
To encourage and promote the best methods of care, education, research and treatment for people with Motor Neurone Disease throughout Ireland, contributing to worldwide efforts in research and development of treatment.
To establish and promote models of good practice in the delivery of specialised services to our patients, their families and carers, setting standards of excellence.
To communicate widely, knowledge of Motor Neurone Disease and related disorders in order to raise awareness in the wider community.

Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association
The Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA) is the only organisation of its kind in the country providing specialised services to families affected by this terminal condition.
The Association cannot slow the progression of MND or change the outcome but we can alleviate the feelings of isolation and frustration.
