I will be abseiling from the roof of Croke Park next Saturday to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease so I am looking for sponsors. All funds raised will go to the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA).

Motor Neurone Disease is a progressive neurological condition which attacks nerves in the brain and spinal cord. Messages between the brain and muscles slow gradually which leads to weakness and wasting. The condition often leads to the loss of basic functions like walking, swallowing and speech.

Currently, there is no known cause or cure for the disease. It can hit anyone at anytime regardless of age, gender or race which is why funds are needed in aiding research in Ireland and all over the world.

The IMNDA provides invaluable care and services for those who suffer from the disease as well as funding research to discover more about it.
