This year the team traveling will consist of Medical Staff (4), Nurses (30), Anaesthetists (7), CSSD Personnel (4), Surgeons (10), Physiotherapists (7), Administrative Staff (3), General Helpers (6), Media Team (2) and translators. It’s a large team going and I’ve been lucky enough to be selected as part of the Physiotherapy Team. We’ll be working with the patients for post-operative rehabilitation and educating the Vietnamese staff on the future management of these and future patients. In previous missions 85 joint replacements were completed over the course of 5 days so it will a busy week but one that I’m sure will be rewarding for everyone involved, patients and volunteers alike.
I aim to raise 1,500 euro so if anyone would like to make a donation it would be greatly appreciated no matter how small.
