Hi everyone, I'd really appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to read this. On the 1st of December I will cycle from my house in Bandon to Killarney to raise funds for Temple Street Childrens Hospital. My daughter Evelyn is 18 months old now and thankfully, completely healthy, but like most parents we have spent some time in hospital with her, thankfully for only a few hours and once over night on one occasion but each time is scarier than the last no matter how small the reason may seem. My point is, this, most of us are extremely lucky, those few trips to the hospital only last a short time and we can go home again. I cant begin to imagine what its like for parents and children who go to hospital one day and may not leave again for a very long time, and unfortunately in some cases not at all. My aim is to raise 1000Euro before Christmas for Temple Street so they can perhaps buy specialist toys for the children who need them. I know everyone can relate to the idea of sick children, in hospital over the Christmas period and as such I would really appreciate it if everyone could donate whatever they can. I know times can be tough at this time of year so absolutely anything at all no matter how insignificent you may think it is would be fantastic to donate.
