I have wanted to run a marathon for so long and now I’ve drawn a line in the sand, there was only one cause I wanted to do it for.

Cancer is unfortunately a modern plague on our society and I’m sorry to say that I don’t think there is a person out there whose family hasn’t been touched in one form or another. The people and services in the East Galway and Midlands Cancer Support Centre provide support to people who live with cancer and their family and friends at a time when they are at their most vulnerable and should be celebrated for everything that they do.

I will be running the Cork City Marathon on June 3rd 2018 for the East Galway & Midlands Cancer Support located in Ballinasloe Co. Galway. Plus all other races I will running in preparation for this wonderful place of comfort and shelter to the community. Anything that you can spare towards this cause will go to help the people, friends and family of the community who find themselves in need of these vital services.
