Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page on iDonate.ie I'm holding a coffee morning on 21/3/18 and I've chosen to fundraise for Feileacain (Stillborn and Neonatal Death Association of Ireland). This is a cause very close to our hearts as we have experienced firsthand the devastating effect of losing a child through stillbirth. When we lost our precious, beautiful son almost ten years ago, our whole family were left heartbroken. My pregnancy was healthy and normal, with plenty of movement and no reason for concern. I had a 3 year old and a 4 year old at home bursting with excitement to meet their new little brother!!! A week over my due date, l gave birth to Baby Sean and he weighed 8lb, devastatingly he had died prior to birth. .... in that moment we lost all our hopes, dreams and our whole future with our gorgeous little man. It was our biggest honour to bring Baby Sean into this world, even if he couldn't stay....💙 We celebrate his Birthday every year so it seemed perfect to hold a fundraiser in celebration of his tenth Anniversary!!! Many families unfortunately experience the loss of babies through miscarriage or stillbirth and all funds raised here will go directly to this great cause. I hope you can help me by donating whatever you can. Simply click the Donate button above. All donations are processed securely. You can also share my page using Share options below. On behalf of myself and my whole family, we thankyou in advance for your support xxxxxxx

About the Cause
Féileacáin (Stillbirth & Neonatal Death Support)
Why the name FéileacáinA Butterfly lights besides us like a sunbeam …Many of the ancient civilizations believed that butterflies were symbols of the human soul, and in Irish mythology the butterflies, or ‘Féileacáin’, are said to be the spirits of the departed who return to visit their favorite place and their loved ones to reassure them that they are alright.
