When Síofra was born we found out that she had an extra chromosome. Trisomy 21. That means she has Down Syndrome and faces some extra challenges that a typical child may not have to deal with. She also has our genes so she loves music and a good laugh :)

So on the 24th of March DSI is running their annual purple fun run.
Now may I say that for full transparency and disclosure I will be walking and jogging ... maybe fast?! I also will be hoping that it doesn't rain or snow therefore allowing us to have a picnic afterwards.
