Hi Everyone,
Myself and a group of my family and friends have decided to do the 10k Bay Run to raise funds for the Children’s Unit in Cork University Hospital. I decided to do the Bay Run in aid of this charity after my little boy spent a few days in the Ladybird Unit in December last year. It got me thinking about the thousands of children that come in and out of this unit and rely on it and how important it is that all the facilities there are up to date so that the children and their families can spend their time in there comfortably with the best possible care. They have a fundraising appeal going on at the moment as some of the children are still being treated in facilities that were built in the 1970’s. So, from me and my family and friends that are joining me in the 10k, this is just our small way of saying thank you and giving something back for taking wonderful care of our children and the other 10,000 children they care for every year.
We would be very grateful for any donations big or small. All donations are processed securely and go directly to this great cause. You can also support by sharing this page using the options below.
