While I am not very athletic, I am inspired by the members of Open Door every day. There are people with Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, acquired brain injuries and many other disabilities who attend the Centre and benefit from the physiotherapy, art, ceramics, music, woodwork, relaxation. Open Door is not just an activity centre, it is a friendship group. I am fortunate to work with Open Door and this is just a small way of giving back something to the community. I am looking forward to walking with the rest of the Open Door supporters in June. Wish me luck!
Open Door provides activities including physiotherapy, art, woodwork, music & ceramics to adults with physical and sensory disabilities. Open Door also offers a much needed break to carers and families.
