Training Update 25th June
Training is going OK I think!. Surprisingly the thing I'm struggling with the most is the cycling. I thought everyone could cycle and that would be the easy part but not for me!
I seem to be getting the hang of the whole swimming thing and I'm absolutely loving being in the sea.
Running is what it is for me. I've done lots of it and I know I'll get through 5km, I've always been a super slow runner and that won't change before 29th July!
My alarm has gradually gotten earlier and earlier and I'm up at 5am most mornings to get training in except in this past week I had a hip flexor injury which caused me a fair whack of pain and required a few rest days/lie ins. Back at it with force this weekend though and starting to get really excited about the big day!
