Since 1979, The Dublin Rape Crisis Centre has worked to prevent the harm and heal the trauma of sexual violence. They work with men and women who have experienced sexual assault, rape or childhood sexual abuse. The Crisis Centre offers a range of support services including telephone counseling, face-to-face counseling, and accompany services. In addition, they advocate on behalf of survivors of sexual violence to ensure they have access to services provided by law enforcement, medicinal professionals, and the courts that are both responsive and respectful.
The organization also provides education, training and organize campaigns with the goal of eliminating the tolerance of sexual violence in our society.
