Hi Guys,
My name is David Barnes and I am taking on the challenge to Run/Walk 400km in 40 days, while raising money for Sligo Leitrim Mountain Rescue Team.
This will be a challenge for me due to the time, weather and physical obstacles it has, which is why I believe it is worthy of sponsorship for Sligo Leitrim Mountain Rescue (SLMRT).
All donations will go directly to SLMRT. Please note that online donations via idonate.ie will incur a 5% charge. This charge is unavoidable to allow online donations and goes to idonate.ie.

The Sligo Leitrim Mountain Rescue Team are entirely volunteer staffed, providing a professional standard of Mountain Rescue to all of counties Sligo and Leitrim, along with support for other teams around the country whenever requested. We're happy to do what we do to help the public. Last year we responded to more than 15 requests for assistance. Our volunteers are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They receive no compensation or allowances for their efforts, time and personal expense
