Hi all,
I've registered to run (or attempt to run most of it at least!) for the first time, the VHI Women's Mini Marathon on Sunday 2nd June 2018 and I am hoping to raise funds for Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland, while doing so!
I've seen and heard the stress and heartache that a very close friend of mine has gone through and still goes through while doing her very best to give her gorgeous autistic son the best education he can possibly and rightfully get and the best upbringing she can possibly give him!
We all know what great companions a dog can be to any human being and how loyal they are - imagine the difference a companion like this could make to an autistic child or adult!
I'm hoping to raise funds that will go towards helping Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland to train more dogs to fulfil their roles as companion dogs or assistance dogs - to help them provide the lifeline that so many parents, families and children urgently need!
If you would like to join me in supporting this great cause, the smallest amount would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you for your support. I've included information about Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland below.
