Deaf people experience the awful impact of Dementia and Alzheimer's. Both as people living with the condition, and as their carers or family members. 

The Alzheimer Society of Ireland is Ireland's leading charity that provides relevant support for people and their families. 

For a lot of Deaf people, English is their second language, Irish Sign Language being their first and preferred language. So when availing of the support services provided by the Alzheimer Society, Irish Sign Language interpreters are sometimes needed. 

Plus, the more money raised for the Alzheimer Society of Ireland would help them provide support to those who need it.
