When my mum was diagnosed with cancer, we spoke about what she could do if she lost her hair, my dream was to surpirse her and give my Mum my hair so she could have a wig styled the way she would like it. Since my mum died I have been growing my hair to donate it to the Rapunzel Foundation for freedom wigs for children and adults. Hair can't be dyed and must have a pony tail of at least 14 inches long. I have reached this now and will be going for the big chop next week. If you would like to sponsor me I have selected my Mum's two favourite charties, the Harold's Cross Hospice which she used to love buying her lights for the Christmas Tree and Alone which we both admired for the work they do for elderly people living on their own, which we used to do cake sales for.
I would like to Thank Niav Brennan of Blu Rinse Hairdressing who is donating her time and skills to cut my hair for this cause.
