Straight Ahead Ireland are an orthopaedic charity based in our Lady's Hospital Crumlin, Dublin.
Straight Ahead's aim is to take time critical children off the HSE waiting lists who cannot wait any longer for vital orthopaedic surgery.

To support Straight Ahead, I am walking the last 110km of the Camino Frances this June. June is Scoliosis awareness month and I wish to fundraise to support the children and their families on the HSE waiting lists.

I am living with Scoliosis and chronic pain for the past 12 years. Luckily my curve didn't require surgery at a young age but I can relate to the pain and frustration many families, adults and children face with Scoliosis. 

The Camino will be a BIG challenge for me physically. However, for those who know me well, I never give up or take a challenge lightly! 😀  I hope with the funds I raise, Straight Ahead Ireland can keep helping the kids who require urgent surgery this year.
