Western Alzheimers provides a complete service of care to families affected by Alzheimers/Dementia in the Western Region of Ireland. It currently has facilities in Athenry, Co Galway (Long-Stay, Respite & Day Care), Ballindine, Co Mayo (Respite Care & Day Care), St Francis, Newcastle, Galway (Day Care) and Fourmilehouse, Roscommon (Day Care) and Foxford (Day Care). It offers families the choice of care supports and facilities which include, Long Stay Residential Care; Respite Care; Day Care and In-Home Care in the community. There are ever increasing demand for its services requires fundraising to part fund the operational costs of its services.
