I am raising money to help the Alzheimer's society of Ireland. 

They are an amazing charity offering care and respect to patients and support and understanding to families. 

I am taking part in the women's mini marathon in honour of my grandfather who unfortunately endured this disease until very recently. He was the head of our family, he was giddy and social and loved a good song and pint of Guinness. 

Every single euro contributed to this cause helps maintain the care towards Alzheimer's patients in each stage of the disease. It helps families express how the are feeling in support group and keeps helplines available in times of distress.
