A fabulous chairty run fully by volunteers, ALLF are there to support parents in the event of their baby dying shortly before or shortly after birth. Every year there are 600 families bereaved, ALLF provide counselling, an online forum, workshops for families, advice and provide packs in maternity hospitals when your baby dies - among other things. The charity is run by bereaved parents and receives little government funding. Every year my family and friends run this race in memory of my daughter Eve who died just before her birth on Dec 5th 2008. Every year we meet and have a day our to remember her and support this charity that has supported my family for almost 10 years.
