It's a long way from Clare to here!

On July 21st I aim to complete a solo swim of Galway Bay from north Clare to Blackrock, Galway. The swim is to raise funds for a cancer charity supporting the West of Ireland, Cancer Care West. I would really appreciate if you could donate whatever you can afford to support this community charity and help me to get to the other side!

Thank you to Cancer Care West for the opportunity to do the swim, to Atlantic Masters & Gerry Cronnelly for the support, to Cathal Curtis for the encouragement, and to Stephen Walsh, Brian & Helen Martyn,-my boat captain and amazing crew. Cathal paved the way last year in memory of his beloved wife, Michelle Curtis.  This year, I swim in memory of Michelle, my Grandparents John & Maura and my friends and family staying strong amid their own cancer treatments. 

Cancer Care West provides individual, group, accomodation and child services support to cancer patients and their families. Their community approach supports the person as an individual and aims to ensure no one goes through cancer alone. Donations will go straight to CCW.
