My Gran Aunt Pauline Finlay disappeared in March 1994 while walking her two dogs on a beach in Old Bawn, Cahore Co Wexford. Her remains were discovered washed up on a beach in Wales in October of the same year and buried in an unmarked grave. Advances in DNA testing proved that the remains in the unmarked grave were Pauline’s. The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust assisted us in having her body brought home and buried earlier this year. This event has been organized to show our gratitude and to contribute something back to the Trust.
The event is taking place on August 25th were myself and a few family members will cycle approx 108Km from Drimnagh, Dublin (Pauline’s birthplace) to Cahore Point, Co Wexford.
Any donation big or small will be greatly appreciated.
