Hi all,
I have decided to shave my head in aid of a great local Limerick organisation, the Mid-Western Cancer Foundation. Based in the University Hospital, Limerick, they provide cancer patients and their families with information and emotional support during their difficult journies through the treatment process. The foundation depends exclusively on charitable donations to allow it to provide this wonderful support. As many of you know, someone very close to me is currently undertaking that difficult journey. However it is being made somewhat easier by the outstanding assistance of the MWCF. Therefore, I have decided, what better way for me to repay them for their kindness than to raise some funds for the Foundation. The 'head shaving' event will take place during a coffee morning in the CIS School DFTC on 26 July 2018. In case you are saying my hair was short to begin with, I have being allowing it to grow for the last month, so there will be something to cut :-) Any contributions would be truely appreciated. Regards, Robbie
