The Ethiopia Deaf Project (VLM)

Ambo Lazarist Deaf School working to help transform the lives of the Deaf community in Ambo. The ALDS was built in 2012 and employs three qualified teachers for the Deaf. The school offers the Deaf children in the area an opportunity for the first time ever to achieve their full potential in education. The establishment of the ALDS will help to break the stigma associated with deafness and disability, introduce Deaf Awareness training for parents and local society and offer Sign Language classes
