Hi all. Once again The Galway Hospice are holding their annual Memorial Walk on 9th September 2018 and myself and a few *friends* will be doing it in memory of Steven. I know there are so many worthy causes out there, but if you have a few euro to spare and would like to put it to a good cause, please sponsor us through the link below. In 2016 we got the devastating news that Steven’s cancer was incurable. To say he borne the illness bravely is such an understatement. Steven was so strong throughout his battle and I am so unbelievably proud of him. Steven never once gave out or complained at any stage. He only asked one thing of me and that was to die at home. We had truly hoped that situation would have been a long time in the future but unfortunately that was not to be and Steven lost his battle on 4th April 2017. One tiny bit of solace I can take from it all is that he did pass away at home. Put simply, this would not have been at all possible without the amazing support and care we received from the Galway Hospice. The team provided amazing support throughout all of Steven’s illness and they continue to be a great support and resource to me and the boys since his passing. I hope you can help me by donating whatever you can. Simply click the Donate button above. Thanks all, Love, Niamh, Shay & Eoin

About the Cause
Galway Hospice Foundation
Galway Hospice Foundation is a voluntary organisation. It was established in 1986 when a group of local doctors and nurses came together with a view to developing hospice services for the people of Galway city and county, as no such services existed there at the time.
