I am taking part in the RocknRoll Dublin 10k run on Sunday August 12th to raise much needed funds and also raise awareness for the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust.
When I was 9 years old my aunt Pauline disappeared in March 1994 while walking her two dogs on a beach in Cahore Co Wexford where she lived. Her body was discovered washed up on a beach in Wales in October of the same year and buried in an unmarked grave until 2016. Advances in DNA testing proved that the remains in the unmarked grave were in fact my aunts. The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust assisted us in having her body brought home so that we could finally have a funeral for her and get closure in December 2017. This event has been organized to show our gratitude and to contribute something back to the Trust.
Any donation big or small will be greatly appreciated.
