I'm taking part in Croke Park Abseils 2018 on Saturday 13th of October 2018 . My father, Fla, was diagnosed with Bulbar-onset Motor Neurone Disease in June of this year. Motor Neurone Disease is a progressive neurological disorder which affects the cells which control voluntary muscles in the body, so it affects how a person walks, talks, eats, drinks and breathes. There is no known cause or cure and currently 80% of the INMDA's income comes from fundraising and donations so I have chosen to fundraise for the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association . All funds raised here will go directly to this great cause.
