Thank you for taking the time to visit our fundraising page on iDonate.ie The KAEM is an iconic desert race, well-known as the Big Daddy of extreme marathons. It is a self-sufficient foot race over 7 days, covering a distance of 250 km. The event takes place in the Kalahari Desert in the proximity of the Augrabies Falls on the Orange River. In October 2018 Ian Hickson & Fergus Wall completed the KAEM to raise money for the 2018 DePuy Synthes site charity Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland AADI.
In support DePuy Synthes teams will walk 250 km between September & October on the Green Mile that runs around the DePuy Synthes site also fundraising for aadi.All funds raised here will go directly to this great cause.

Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland was founded in 2010 as a primary service, training and placing assistance dogs to children on the autism spectrum who are a flight risk. We are a National Childrens' charity (CHY 19293) with our headquarters in Little Island, Co CorkOur charity provides a valuable service that has life changing effects for both the children on the spectrum and their families.We provide our dogs free of charge but each dog costs us in the region of €25,000 to train and with n
