On Sunday 28th October, we are planning on running the Dublin Marathon.  We are fund-raising for the Mercy Hospital Heroes / POONS Service (Paediatric Oncology Outreach Nursing Service). Our friends Donagh & Alice McCarthy's son Callum is 5 and has Leukemia. The Mercy Hospital Heroes visit Callum at his home to administer his medicine at times when Callum is physically unable to attend the hospital. This service is vital for Callum and kids like him.  The Mercy Heroes depend on the generosity of people to fund this service.  Being able to deliver a home-based option to children like Callum enhances their quality of life and allows for normalisation of family life during cancer treatment, plus it also reduces hospital admissions.  Please consider supporting this great cause.
