In September 2008 David Cahill went on a holiday to Crete, he was 21 at the time. On the second day of his holidays his family were contacted and told that David was on a life support machine after suffering three major heart attacks. David has been diagnosed with a profound acquired brain injury and as a result requires 24/7 care.
