It's been over 18 months since my locks were trimmed. People have always told me I have such lovely thick hair but I wanted to get it cut short and I had the idea that I could donate my hair to make a wig for someone who needs it. My mam shaved her head a few years ago to raise money for a charity and I wanted to give it a try myself...any excuse for a few new hats right??
After all.. it's only hair and it will grow back, and if I can raise money for sick children along the way then that would be awesome.
So in a couple of weeks we're going to chop it all off and send the ponytail off to be made into a wig and get the razor out to finish the job.. so please donate to my page and Santa might take you off the naughty list ;)

I was worried about how people would react when I told them that the money was being given to charity, but they just said, "Good for you!" So, "Good for you, Robyn!" You have been so inspiring that your charity deserves the lot!
