I'm taking part in TeamMarymount - Cork Half Marathon on Sunday 2nd of June 2019 .
I've chosen to fundraise for Marymount University Hospital and Hospice . All funds raised here will go directly to this great cause.

My dad passed away of brain cancer on March 10th 2019. He was diagnosed with cancer only 2 months before. It was horrible to watch dad suffer, a man who was so independent and spent his days solving problems and lending a helping hand.

Myself and my family miss my dad very much and will continue to miss him for the rest of our lives. I am doing this run in memeory of my dad who always gave genourously to people.

Myself and my family would not have gotten through this without the supoort of the staff at Marymount Hospice. The staff were incredible with dad and gave him so much attention and care. It was a comfort to us knowing that he was spending his last weeks in such an amazing and caring facility.
