This summer I have set time aside to fundraise for the Irish Hospice Foundation (IHF). All funds raised here will go directly to IHF, which helps to finance their invaluable services. Simply click the Donate button above.

So what is the deal?

To ‘pay’ for your valued contribution I set myself the challenge to cycle 3000 km in 3 countries in 3 events over 3 months. The fact that I love cycling and travelling may lead you to think this is basically a glorified long holiday. If you look closer at the routes however I suspect there will be a serious amount of sweat (and hopefully not too many tears). It is certainly the biggest cycling challenge I have ever done and I hope you will turn your 'appreciation' into action and donate some cash for this worthy organisation.

• Event 1 - Cycle through all 12 provinces in the Netherlands - 1100km* - Dates between 26 May until 2 June (COMPLETED - Check out https://www.polarsteps.com/MartinLangedijk/1626597-cycling-through-all-12-provinces-in-holland for proof!)
  
  
• Event 2 - The IHF Costa Verde Cycle challenge - 550km* - Dates between 24 June until 29 June
  
  
• Event 3 - Cycle through all 32 counties in Ireland - 1350km* - Dates between 18 July until 26 July
