UPDATE: Well, we did it. It was bitterly cold and raining the day before and the forecast for the Saturday was to be the same. But the angels smiled on us and the sun shined. I met amazing, inspirational women. Women that are battling cancer and going through ongoing treatment women that have had past treatment and surgeries, women that have survived cancer, women that have children with cancer and lost children and loved ones through cancer and women that want to help raise awareness about cancer and how it effects us all. We are all shapes and sizes, alot of us carry our scars. But on Saturday 8th June, we all became sisters. Doing the same thing as each other, stripping off our pretence and ignorance, Fighting the same fight, raising the same awareness, raising funds for the same cause. I am so proud to have been part of helping to raise awareness for your auntie, mother, sister, friend, cousin, and you, that no matter what cancer you or they have, or what treatment or surgeries they receive and how their looks may alter, they, we, you are still the same. We are strong, we are beautiful, we are loved. WE ARE SISTERS.
