Laoise and Aoibh are Ruth's daughters and Fidelma's nieces. They are both supported by Down Syndrome Dublin to get the best start in their young lives. Aoibh attended a lovely playgroup for two years, subsidised by DSD, where she learnt through music with Rainbow Phil and Ruth got great peer support. Aoibh has now moved on to a combined Speech and Language/ Occupational Therapy group, also subsided by Down Syndrome Dublin, where she learns alongside three other children through fun activities and gets ready for preschool. Laoise also receives support through Speech and Language therapy sessions, again subsidised by Down Syndrome Dubin. This support from Down Syndrome Dublin is invaluable for parents who otherwise would struggle to pay for expensive therapies and small group sessions, all aimed at helping their children to show their abilities and reach their potential. All money donated really does go to help children and adults with Down Syndrome. We would be very grateful for any support you can provide.
