I have been rowing for many years and I'm delighted to take on this gruelling challenge of rowing from Arklow to Aberytswyth for the third time to support two worthy causes: Dun Laoghaire RNLI Lifeboat Station and St Michaels Rowing Club, Dun Laoghaire. We hope to row over the May Bank Holiday (fingers crossed we get the weather) The crossing can take anywhere up to 27 hours. The crew of 12 people will row in relays of four oarspeople and a cox on and off non stop through the night. Conditions can be tough but the comraderie and sense of achievement make up for the pain and hardship!
