It is that time of year again folks, where we run naked and screaming into the Irish Sea. All in the hopes that the funds we raise will go towards truly Kicking the Shite out of Cancer. As you all know I was diagnosed in October of 2015. Since then I have lost friends (Old and New) and family to this scourge. The latest being my beloved father on the 1st May 2018. It is once again that I am doing this fundraiser in the memory of my Dad. Please support me in this. Since my own surgery, It has taken me a lot of determination and courage to be so open about my scars and new tattoos. I did not want to allow cancer to make me feel any form of shame or disgust in my "New" shape. It has not been easy and of course there are low days, however I want to promote a positive body image to help those who have, are and will find themselves facing such radical surgery now or in the future. There is "life after boobs!" Thanks in advance, Elaine xx
