Thank you for taking the time to visit our fundraising page on iDonate.ie We are taking part in VHI Mini-Marathon 2019 on Sunday 2nd of June 2019 . We have chosen to fundraise for Feileacain - Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Association of Ireland in honour of my daughter Sarah. All funds raised here will go directly to this great cause.
Sadly Sarah was born an angel to my husband Colin and I and her three big brothers on Nov. 1st 2018. During this period our family faced some of our most trying times. But in our darkest hours the charity Feileacain offered us a guiding light and support system we would have been lost without. From providing the most beautiful memory box for her precious items and memory teddies for her brothers, to their emotional support and advice, this charity went above and beyond. They knew what we needed to walk this path before we even took each step. Sadly we are not the first nor the last family to face such loss. Any donation you can make towards this much needed support for other families who will walk this difficult road would be greatly appreciated.
From the bottom of all our hearts thank you!

About the Cause
Feileacain - Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Association of Ireland
Why the name FéileacáinA Butterfly lights besides us like a sunbeam …Many of the ancient civilizations believed that butterflies were symbols of the human soul, and in Irish mythology the butterflies, or ‘Féileacáin’, are said to be the spirits of the departed who return to visit their favorite place and their loved ones to reassure them that they are alright.
